Hello, I'm Rahila.


For 23+ years, I’ve worked close to the rooms where leaders are chosen — and where cultures are changed.

Wake-Up Call.

I built teams. Solved hard problems. Became the person leaders called when the stakes were high.

For years, I was the HR advisor leaders called when people issues were tangled, reputations were fragile, and the room needed calm.

The work was real. But the signal carrying that work was not.


So I tried to outwork it.
More hours. More output. More proving.
Until I ended up in a doctor's office.

The neurologist was blunt —

"You will lose your eyesight."

 

That single sentence did what no performance review ever could.
 


 

It forced the truth to the surface:

I had spent years studying how the brain pays attention, how trust forms, and how reputations take shape. And I had applied too little of that science to my own life.

 

Brilliance was carrying me.
Burnout was billing me.

Signal Shift

I STOPPED CHASING ATTENTION. I STARTED BUILDING A NAME.

The shift began with a simple act of visibility.

I published HR Toolkit, a magazine built from the questions leaders and professionals were already asking me behind closed doors.

One issue reached the Editor-in-Chief at DAWN.

That led to Dear Workplace Sanity, a column read by 1M+ people over a decade.

Then things changed.


Leaders reached out first.
My name began to travel across industries.

I charged more.
Worked less. 
Spoke on stages.

 

Not because I became louder.Because my signal became clearer.
